Merry Christmas!
We are celebrating our victories this month and looking with renewed hope toward a new year of opportunity! For now, we are going to set aside our losses and celebrate the wins we have. America has a second chance. The mandate given to President Donald J. Trump is virtually unprecedented. By the time we meet, we may have a clearer picture of the US House and US Senate majorities.
Of course, North Carolina had fewer reasons for celebration. We seem to have lost the supermajority in the House and did not carry some important council of state seats for keeping Josh Stein in check. Mitch Kokai will give us some of his expertise on what happened and what we can expect.
Make your plans to attend now.
We will also be turning our attention to the future. Just because the election will be over, doesn't mean that our work will be! After a rest over the holidays, the New Year will hold many new challenges and opportunities. As you look at the next year, our Party will immediately move into reorganizing so we are ready for the next Democrat onslaught. This will begin with our Precinct Meeting in February and our County Convention in March. Make sure you've added these to your calendar!
There is much work to do, but for now, we celebrate!
God sent his son in the form of a man so that he might redeem us from our sins. Always remember the reason for this season!
